PlansScope ("PlansScope," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you and your business share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

PlansScope is a tool for general benefits-plan information. It is not intended to store individual medical records or other protected health information (PHI). Please upload plan summaries and benefits guides — not employees' personal health data.

Information we collect

Account information you provide when you sign up, such as your company name, contact name, email address, and phone number.
Documents you upload, such as Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) documents, plan summaries, or benefits guides, along with text extracted from them to power the assistant.
Billing details you enter, such as a billing contact, email, and address. (We do not process card payments in this version.)
Usage information generated as you use the product, including your saved questions and the assistant's answers, stored so your history is available to you across sessions.

How we use your information

To provide the service — store your documents securely, answer your questions, and keep your account working.
To maintain, secure, and improve the product.
To communicate with you about your account or service-related matters.
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

How your data is isolated and secured

Each business's data is logically separated. Access controls enforced at the database level ensure that one account cannot read or modify another account's documents, conversations, profile, or billing information. Uploaded files are kept in private storage accessible only to your account. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service — for example, with infrastructure and processing providers (such as our hosting, database, and AI providers) who handle data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations. The assistant answers using only the documents in your own account. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PlansScope or others.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can remove individual documents and clear your conversation history at any time from within the app.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
